The Fight For Olindia: Rules Of Magic
Normal humans can have ONE power from list A, used within reason.
For example, a child would still be learning the spell, whereas an adult would have a better grasp of it.
Mages may have 2 powers from list A and 1 power from list B, and strong control of these powers.
As they spend more time practicing them, and learning respect for the powers.
List A
- Pyran: Creation but not control of fire
- Anemoin: To bring on the winds, but not control what it does
- Gaian: The control of earth (plants, trees) such as helping things grow
- Theian: The ability to make people see things out of the corner of their eye. Upon looking directly at an object, they would see nothing.
- Gaean: The ability to know the mind of an animal, but not be understood by it.
- Iridium: The ability to 'have a feeling' when something will happen. (IE: know when someone lying, or when someone will attack but not know how or when)
- Ekhon: The ability to speak to another in their mind, but not hear their thoughts.
- Janun: The ability to push a single object away or pull a single object toward you, but not with accuracy.
List B NOTE, Mages learn mass respect for the world around them, and would not seek to abuse these powers. Please play with care.
- Pyra: Creation and control of fire.
- Anemoia: Can summon and control the winds
- Gaiaa: Can help things grow, and control what it does (such as a vine wrapping around someone's wrist.
- Theia: The ability to make someone see something that is not there, or not see something before them
- Gaea: The ability to know the mind of an animal, and reply one's mind to it.
- Iridiuma: The ability to see the paths the future might take
- Ekha: The ability to speak to another in their mind, and hear their thoughts in return.
- Jana: The ability to move an object away or toward you, and having it end up close to or where you wanted it.
